Day 47 of 366
Manual mode, matrix metering, Nikon D200/grip, hand-held
Nikkor 105 2.8 VR Macro, 1/160 sec, f/13, ISO 100
Ice on the vehicles this morning. SB-600, sync cord, 8" diffusion tube laying horizontal a few inches away, warming gel on the flash head. Why use the SB-600 and not the SB-800? Hey, they work great too. 68mm extension tubes on the 105VR for a close up view.
Why Compelling
I like the warm tones of a cold image. I think the details are nice in the ice and the shapes are compelling.
