Pretty much as shot, very little processing here.

Another swing shot, but in this case I was pretty close to her. The expression and light made the shot for me.

Day 149 of 366

No crop, this is as-framed. The Canada Goose really did swim right by me.
In fact, it got out of the water, walked around me within 5 feet.
No need for a 600mm today.

Why compelling
Why is this shot compelling? I like the closeness, I like the reflection, but what put it over the top for me was the little plants arching towards the goose, plus they mimic goose heads/necks in other ways.
